In Las Vegas, my friend Jeremy Kennedy met up with Martin to ask him a few quick questions - keep reading for the revealing answers below...
Jeremy: "Next year marks the 30th anniversary of The Lexicon of Love. How will you celebrate it?"
Martin: "It's gotta be big... Maybe another grand concert performance at the Royal Albert Hall theater. I don't know, but it's a huge milestone."
Jeremy: "Did your last album Traffic meet your expectations?'
Martin: "Some of the tracks received airplay on BBC radio. No one in this business can judge their successes on one record; the artist, radio, and the label all have a hand in the mix."
Jeremy: "Last year you tweeted that you were bound to crutches. What happened?"
Martin: "I had an injury to my hip. I had surgery to correct it. As a result, I've taken up cycling and love it!"
Jeremy: "Will there be another ABC album?"
Martin: "Oh yeah... I've got to make another one. I recently signed a new deal with EMI Music . How can I judge the value of my songs if I don't make another record? It keeps you in check of where you are as an artist."

Some great news for Matt Backer fans! Two solo gigs are planned on Sunday 27th and Monday 28th February at the Pizza Express Soho in London.
Tickets are 12 GBP and doors will be open from 7pm. The show starts at 8.30 pm.

Good news for Dutch ABC fans who would like to go to the 80's Rewind Christmas Tour.

07/10/2010- A NEW LOOK!
A new layout for the site already!! Not really because I have plenty of time to create a new one but I wasn't happy with the 'old' site (just two months old I know..).
A lot of 'technical' things weren't possible, a bad spamfilter, some other things I won't bore you with, and above all ...the site has been visited by literally thousands of people from all over the world - and the capacity with the old hosting package was limited. All this added up (oh and a lousy customer service!) made me create this new one...hope you all like it!

A new gig has been added to the ABC live section! This time on 21st of August in Büsüm in Germany (gig is not confirmed yet on the official site). For more info you can click the link.
I realise the site is completely in German. The information given says it's a free open air festival starting at 5pm on the main beach of Büsüm. According to the website ABC will be performing around 7pm but times can change...
